SMC Joint Sponsored 59th International Medical Conference - Progress in Medical Practice and Education in the Changing World, London, UK, 6 – 9 August 2025
Promoting Excellence in Patient Care and Education in the 21st Century.
The conference includes free medical education meetings for healthcare professionals from Thurrock area, Essex, UK.
Major challenges continue to occur in Medical Care and Education Worldwide. There are increasing external and internal pressures to improve the quality of patient care, education and research performances of health professionals. Hence the conference on ‘Maintaining Challenges in Medical Practice and Education’ will embrace these challenges.
The format of the conference includes key note speaking/lecture, presentations of research or projects carried by delegates from different parts of the World, workshops, and interactive sessions for all delegates to participate in, and learn together in an informal environment. The Joint LJPC, JIARE, SMC and IAHCP Society Conference Centre venue, The Wesley London Euston, 81-103 Euston Street, London, NW1 2EZ, with all the facilities that it offers, is handy for visiting many attractions and shops in Central London. It is also very close to the Theatre Land and West End of London. The British Library is nearby in Euston Road, and it has so many transport facilities and stations like the Easton Square Station, Euston Station, Kings Cross Station, St Pancreas Station and many bus routes to name but few. Please note that there may be a possibility that this event can be held online via ZOOM depending on the situation with the COVID - 19 Infection and other infectious diseases, including other factors at the time of the conference. In which case, updated information will be published on this page. The mode of the proceedings is hybrid in nature, as there is face to face, as well as online proceedings. These will be stated on the Final Programme of Proceedings, which will be available by 6 August 2024.

Accreditation:
The Conference and educational meetings are accredited by various professional bodies. So participants will receive attendance certificates, including Continuous Medial Education (CME) and Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Certificates. The CME and CPD points are between 24 to 60 points depending on number of sessions attended.

COMPETITIONS FOR THE BEST RESEARCH PAPER AND THE BEST PRESENTATION PRIZES
Please note that there will be competition for the best research paper and best presentation prizes at the event. The prize winners will be announced at the end of the proceedings and conference. Certificates of awards will be issued to the prize winners, including the opportunity for them to attend the next conference free of charge of the conference fee, which will be waived for them.
