SMC Joint 52^nd International Medical Conference on Progress in Medical Practice

Constant progress and innovations have been occurring in medical practice and education internationally for the past decades.   These have been as a result of advances in medical practice worldwide.  In addition, patients have become more informed about their health, and these have resulted in increased in demands and expectations, thereby bringing about the changing roles of the doctors and healthcare workers in society.  There are now needs for healthcare workers to be more involved in teaching and research, as well as in patient care.  Hence the conference on ‘Progress in Medical Practice and Education in the Changing World’ will embrace many topics on the various issues affecting medical practice, research and education.  The Provisional Programme for the conference series can be found below:

Please note that the topics stated on the above provisional programme may change and can be presented and sessions taking place on the other days of the conference, as topics are grouped in themes per day.  Please refer to the final programme in the conference pack for the event.  The final date comprises new topics and summary of all the other topics presented by the delegates, thereby giving more insight to all the themes and subjects dealt with at the proceedings.

The format of the conference includes key note speaking/lecture, presentations of research or projects carried by delegates from different parts of the World, workshops, and interactive sessions for all delegates to participate in, and learn together in an informal environment.  There are also plenty of opportunities for networking and making new friends.  The Provisional Programme can be found above.
