Promoting Excellence in Patient Care and Education in the 21st Century.

Major challenges continue to occur in Medical Care and Education Worldwide. There are increasing external and internal pressures to improve the quality of patient care, education and research performances of health professionals. Hence, the conference on ‘Maintaining Challenges in Medical Practice and Education’ will embrace these challenges.

The format of the conference includes key note speaking/lecture, presentations of research or projects carried by delegates from different parts of the World, workshops, and interactive sessions for all delegates to participate in, and learn together in an informal environment.  There are also plenty of opportunities for networking and making new friends.  The Provisional Programme can be found below.

TOTAL HOURS OF PROCEEDINGS AND TRAINING, EXCLUDING REGISTRATION, TEA/COFFEE BREAKS AND LUNCH:   32 Hours and 30 Minutes for four days (8 Hours and 7+ Minutes Per Day).

Two Modes of

Attendance/Participation: 

In-Person at the Venue on 6 August 2026 and Online via Zoom on 7 - 9 August 2026 in order to give an opportunity for international delegates to participate in the conference proceedings. 

The selected Joint Conference Centre venue offers excellent meeting and educational facilities. 

It is handy for visiting many attractions and shops in Central London with nearby Stratford Tube Station, served by both the Central and Jubilee London Underground lines, as well as several nearby bus routes.  Guests and families can effortlessly go into Central London and Greater London to some must-see venues such as Buckingham Palace, Big Ben, Tower of London, Madame Tussauds, multiple National Museums, the London Eye, and many more.

As one of the most historic, largest and beautiful capital cities in the world, London has many attractions and historic cultural sites for delegates and their families to see and enjoy.  Please come and join us in London, England to enjoy this conference with interesting scientific programmes, and opportunities for delegates, accompanying people and families.

Important Notice about the Venue:  

Please note that there may be a possibility that this event can be held online via ZOOM depending on the situation with the COVID - 19 Infection and other infectious diseases, including other factors at the time of the conference.  In which case, updated information will be published on this page.  The mode of the proceedings is hybrid in nature, as there is face to face, as well as online proceedings.  These will be stated on the Final Programme of Proceedings, which will be available by 6 August 2026.

Accreditation: 

The Conference and educational meetings are accredited by various professional bodies.  So participants will receive attendance certificates, including Continuous Medial Education (CME) and Continuous Professional Development (CPD) Certificates.  The CME and CPD points are between 24 to 60 points depending on number of sessions attended.

Abstract Submission:  

Please submit your abstract(s) as a word document(s) attached to an email message to:  conferences@santamariacollege.org.uk.

Please note that your abstract can be up to 400 words.

All submitted and accepted abstracts will be published in the Conference official Book of Proceedings, with ISSN and available in the British Library and other libraries internationally.

Participants would also have the opportunity of publishing their full papers in one of the Association's Medical Journals.

The deadline for submissions of abstracts is 30^th June 2026.

There are two payment options for conference registration; card payment and bank/wire transfer, as available below:

1) Card Payment

Important Notice

Please note that if you chose the student rate or the resident doctor rate, you may be asked to please provide evidence that you are a full-time undergraduate or postgraduate student or that you are a resident doctor and therefore, eligible for the selected fee.

Please note that there will be competitions for the best research paper and best presentation at the event. The prize winners will be announced at the end of the proceedings and conference.  Certificates of awards will be issued to the prize winners, including the opportunity for them to attend the next conference free of charge of the conference fee, which will be waived for them.
