Abstract

Hematology research and education have improved patient outcomes through new therapies and a better understanding of diseases like multiple myeloma. Education improves clinical practice by increasing knowledge, competency, and confidence among healthcare professionals, leading to better care plans, management of side effects, and the integration of research findings. Together, they lead to better quality of life for patients, more targeted treatments, and more efficient healthcare systems.  The aim of this article is to describe the work of the Centre for Haematological Research and Education in promoting excellence in patient care, research, innovations and education in a global context.
